Wine & Dine

All of our dishes are prepared freshly on the premises and use locally sourced produce wherever possible. Our Chef's create their own dishes and menus including home made chutneys and desserts.

We have just launched our new Winter Menu, available to download on the Menu tab on the right hand side of this page. This incorporates a selection of delicious starters, tantalising winter mains and our most popular desserts. Our lunchtime menu also offers a selection of sandwiches on fresh granary bread and omelettes.

On a Sunday lunchtime between 12pm - 3pm we serve our ever-popular Sunday Roast featuring topside of 21 day matured beef, pork loin and chicken all provided by Swannington Farm to Fork. This is accompanied by roast potatoes, home made stuffing, Yorkshire puddings and a selection of Norfolk vegetables. We always have a few alternative options available on Sunday including a vegetarian and fish dish.  It is advisable to book in advance as the weekends tend to be our busiest time.

Our suppliers are all Norfolk based meaning that we can take advantage of the excellent local produce on offer.

Swannington Farm to Fork supply us with our steak mince for our ever popular steak burgers, sausages, smoked bacon, chicken breasts, whole joints of ham, to name a few. Our Sunday roasts are also supplied by Swannington and include 21 day matured beef topside, pork loin and whole chickens.

The Lowestoft Shellfish Company supply our fish and seafood which is exceptionally fresh including the cod which we batter for our cod and chips which is always a popular choice.

Green Pastures located just up the road from us in Bergh Apton provide all of our fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs used throughout all of our dishes and menus. The majority of these are grown either in Norfolk, or the East of England, apart from those not suited to our climate.

We offer an excellent selection of ales and lagers to suit all pallets. Our ales are all poured directly from the cask and include Woodforde's Wherry and our own ale Yareside supplied exclusively to us by Greene King. We also offer a selection of lagers, IPA Smooth, Guinness and Aspalls Cyder from Suffolk.
